Amit was born on July 7, 2004, in the picturesque town of Charki Dadri, Haryana, a place that holds many of his fondest memories. Growing up on his family’s farm, he enjoyed a simple yet vibrant childhood alongside his supportive parents, Ajit and Asha, and his younger brother, Gagan. While Gagan never shared Amit’s passion for kabaddi, the brothers created countless adventures in the fields, where Amit nurtured his dreams of excelling in the sport he adored. His official kabaddi journey began at 17. Amit quickly found his home as a Left Raider, where his favorite skill, the hand touch, allowed him to shine on the mat. He’s often inspired by Maninder Singh, a player whose aggression and skill captivated him. Training earnestly at the Suryamukhi Academy in Rohtak, Amit has carved out a promising path in the sport, clinching a bronze medal for Haryana at the 47th Junior Nationals, which became a pivotal moment in his burgeoning career. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in his second year, Amit's heart is set on turning his kabaddi passion into a professional career. With ambition driving him, he looks forward to showcasing his talents in future tournaments, aiming to make both his family and his hometown proud.
