Rushikesh Dalavi

Rushikesh Shrikant Dalvi, born on September 17, 2003, hails from Palghar, Maharashtra, where his journey in kabaddi commenced. Raised in a supportive family with his father, Shrikant Dalvi, in employment, and his mother, Kanchan Shrikant Dalvi, managing the household, Rushikesh finds inspiration from his elder brother Vishal and sister Janavi, although they don't partake in kabaddi themselves. Discovering his passion for kabaddi at the age of 15 during his school days, Rushikesh quickly established himself as a formidable Right Cover Defender, renowned for his swift and decisive dashes on the court. Under the guidance of coach Vishal Patil at Kuldayvat Khanivali, Rushikesh refines his skills, drawing motivation from his favorite player, Aslam Inamdar, particularly admiring his bonus strategies. Despite his commitment to kabaddi, Rushikesh also indulges in cricket and other sports, reflecting his versatile sporting interests. Pursuing a degree in Commerce, currently in his third year at college, Rushikesh's career highlights include securing a bronze medal at the 48 Junior State Championship held in Pune in 2022. Looking ahead, Rushikesh harbors aspirations of donning the Indian jersey, driven by his unwavering determination to excel in the sport he passionately embraces.
