Abhishek Kedase

Abhishek Rohidas Kedase, born on June 10, 2003, in Adolwadi, Latur, Maharashtra, currently resides in the same locality. His father, Rohidas, works as a clerk in a school, while his mother, Meena, is a homemaker. Abhishek has a younger brother named Abhijeet, who does not play kabaddi. Abhishek discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 19, drawn to the game's essence as a quintessential sport of Maharashtra. He finds solace and tranquility in playing kabaddi, which led him to pursue the sport. Starting as a Left Corner Defender, Abhishek has honed his skills, with his standout move being the back kick. Under the guidance of his coach, Dr. Sachin Chamle, he trains diligently at the Kai. Rashika College, Deoni to enhance his abilities. One of Abhishek's idols in the kabaddi world is Siddharth Desai, whom he deeply admires for his fitness, physique, and skill set. Inspired by Siddharth, Abhishek has embraced kabaddi with determination and passion. Abhishek has represented his district in various tournaments, including the Junior State Championships in Pune in 2021 and Parbani in 2022. His noteworthy performance in the 2022 Parbani tournament, where he achieved a Super 10 in the final game despite not being initially selected in the playing 7, earned him recognition from his coaches. As a result, he is now a part of the Latur Yuva Squad, marking a significant milestone in his kabaddi journey. Outside of kabaddi, Abhishek excels in volleyball, competing at the state level. Currently pursuing his college graduation, he aspires to play in the Pro Kabaddi League and secure a job in the Maharashtra Police, combining his love for kabaddi with his career aspirations.
