Nithesh Ramaiah

Nithesh, born on September 1, 2004, is a native of Pammal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides there. His father, Ramaiah, works as an auto driver, while his mother, Sudha, is a homemaker. Nithesh has an elder sister named Nithya, although she does not participate in Kabaddi. Nithesh discovered his interest in Kabaddi at the age of 14 and began playing the sport out of personal passion. He primarily plays as a Left Cover Defender and has honed his skills in various defensive techniques, including running blocks, chain tackles, and thigh holds. Thiru, his first Kabaddi coach, provided him with personalized training free of charge. Nithesh holds Thiru in high regard, considering him a mentor who guided him well. He practices at Vasu Memorial Club in Pallikkaranai, refining his skills and strategies. Nithesh's favorite player is Thirukumaran, a player from Vels University, whom he admires for his exceptional game knowledge and willingness to help others improve. Nithesh has represented his state in Junior State and South Zone University tournaments. His career highlights include achieving a grade in the South Zone Tournament, where his team emerged as runners-up. Outside of Kabaddi, Nithesh enjoys playing football. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and aspires to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League while also securing a government job in the future. His dedication to both his education and Kabaddi reflects his ambition to excel in multiple aspects of life.
